Aug/Sept 2025, APRIL SHOWERS

April Showers is a visual artist and art instructor. She received her BFA in Painting and has a background in Education and Anthropology.

April explores feminine energies and spirit animals portrayed under a dark, yet whimsical veil of melancholia and drama. She materializes this through bold graphic lines and rich colours that heighten the intensity of her characters’ auras. She is often inspired by the tempest of the psyche and the expressions used to mask it from society. April’s art invites viewers into the internal minds of her subjects to contemplate their stoic and enigmatic charms.
